Librecine’s Anna Jancsó is among 10 European producers selected for the 2016 Producers Lab Toronto. The event takes place during TIFF between September 6-9.
Now in its seventh year, the initiative for emerging producers is run by European Film Promotion in collaboration with Ontario Media Development Corporation and Toronto International Film Festival.

Anna Jancsó and Krisztina Endrényi will be presenting the upcoming adaptation of Magda Szabó’s classic children’s novel ISLAND BLUE to potential co-producers, talent agents and buyers on May 15 at 11:00 AM at the Literary Adaptation Pavilion (Village International Pantiero – Pavillon 220), as part of the Best-Seller-to-Box-Office international co-production pitching session.

Island Blue, an ambitious family film project by Librecine has secured MEDIA development funding from the EU’s Culture & Audiovisual programme, Creative Europe.
The film project is based on a children’s classic by Magda Szabó, author of ‘The Door’ and ‘Iza’s Ballad’. The development is led by producers Anna Jancsó and Krisztina Endrényi.
